Had a headache so I thought this seemed like a good idea… borrowing the Captain’s pose for a quickie. Captain Canada? Except there isn’t really a Canada in the ME Universe?? Oh well, whatever.
I DRAW WHAT I WANT.
I’m pretty sure I’ve posted some of these before… But here’s all 9 dinosaur comics messages I’ve put up for my class this semester, plus one from a mystery source/secret admirer.
These are really funny, and could pass for real Dinosaur Comics. XD
I think that’s the best compliment I’ve gotten on these yet — so thank you very much!
You’re welcome, and thanks for posting—I wish anyone involved with any class I ever took was this creative with announcements.
I snorted a teeny bit too much at this <3

What is even the deal with this duck?
Why is it made of wood?
Why is it wearing boots?
We just don’t know.
Similar in appearance to the majestic Salamanca Market wooden duck.

Don’t ruin Sherlock Holmes for me, CBS
This post may seem a little late to the party but there’s a growing number of posts on my dash discussing whether or not Elementary is copying BBC’s Sherlock so I thought I’d throw my stance on the matter at the internet and see what happens.
There are dozens and dozens of adaptations of Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes floating around but what Moffat (& co) did with Sherlock brought it back into popularity while keeping the story of Sherlock Holmes intact. What it feels like CBS is doing (after being rejected by Moffat to remake Sherlock) is cashing in on the success of the BBC version (a legitimate business - don’t get me wrong) but they run the risk of damaging the brand by being… awful.
I’m an Elementary sceptic but I don’t think it’s copying Sherlock. Moffat (& co) know what’s in their story that didn’t feature in the original so there’ll be a problem if Moffat’s content finds it’s way into Elementary. The idea of updating the story of Sherlock Holmes to present day isn’t original either but I sure hope that Elementary doesn’t bring the whole brand down by being tasteless, poorly conceived trash.
I’m looking forward to Elementary later in the year as Sherlock Holmes is a favourite universe of mine and I certainly don’t want to hate anything Sherlock-related in the future (like I now hate anything vampire-related).
